Welcome to the Universe is a show that all the family will enjoy. This show is about what is out there in the night sky and some of the mythology behind the stars. Using 6 computer driven slide projectors, a video projector and the most important part the planetarium projector; we make the dome come to life with the night sky and show you images of what things look like close up from Orion's Nebulae, to the Seven Sisters.
There are online alternatives to visiting a planetarium, such as the media section of the NASA website, provided you have a high speed internet connection such as broadband. However, looking at static images on a computer screen will never create the same excitement and interaction as the slide and video projectors used at a planetarium.

The Solar System Experience was created so that you can experience and appreciate the distances between the planets of our solar system. During the Solar Trail you will have walked the equivalent of 5900 million Km. Each metre you walk will represent approx 6 million Km.
