Concentrating on our Solar System and its effects on us and our Earth
- We go on Solar Trail Walk through the Country Park, visiting each planet at scale distances from the planetarium.
- Find out what causes the Seasons and why the length of day changes through the Year, all around the world.
- Find out how we get the Phases of the Moon, making the Moon change shape and the effect upon our seas, as Tides change each month.
- How we see the planets and the differences between them. We shall safely look at our Sun and see it is a great glowing sphere of gas.
- We have a planetarium show about what's in the night sky at time of your visit.
- In these events we are looking at the effect of gravity and light and shadows.
An understandable and fascinating look at our world and the night sky above us whether you are eight or eighty years old
There is a Solar System Discovery Pack for each family or individual coming on the event
